Quantitative Analysis Software is a relatively new method of investing which uses computerized artificial intelligence techniques to make decisions on the buying or selling of stocks, Bonds, or other financial assets. Usually managers monitor the software's decisions and can decide to override it.

Technical Analysis Software is a selection of computer software programs that analyze the quantitative data associated with several financial instruments traded on the financial markets, including price data, volume data and sentiment data. The collected data is compiled, analyzed and interpreted in accordance with technical analysis theory which is largely used in finance by traders, for the purpose of forecasting probable price trends and movement. Thus this software is a tool with wide acceptance among many traders since the information technology boom.
