Automotive
There is hardly any other industry in which the value chain comprises as many stages as in the automotive industry in which dealers, manufacturers, a multitude of component suppliers, and logistics service providers form a complex network. Even if you are part of this network and have your core business completely under control with just-in-time production, what about your aftermarket business? How quickly are you able to deal with complaints from your customers?
Depending on your position in the value chain, various capabilities may be required here: If you are a dealer you will want to ensure customer satisfaction with speedy repairs. This requires fast communication with the manufacturer.
If you are a manufacturer you will want to reduce the time and costs for processing complaints and improve quality standards. In order to achieve this you need efficient control of the network of your suppliers as well as internal quality management.
If you are a component supplier, you will want to shorten processing times and cut subsequent costs.
You can only succeed in doing this if you have access to all the necessary information. In other words, you need access to customer and product data in order to check the guarantee and warranty period, you need access to bills of material in production in order to procure the necessary spare parts, and you need access to product data from development in order to determine whether a fault involves a material or design weakness.
This can only be achieved with an integrated value chain. In view of this, we will realign your IT strategy, design integrated processes, and implement these processes entirely using SAP tools. As a result you will be able to enjoy transparent processes and an end-to-end communication flow, allowing you to increase your processing speed, reduce effort, and avoid costly errors.
You can benefit from the extensive practical experience that we have gained working with medium-sized and large enterprises, from our industry-specific implementation methods, and from our tried and tested Best Practices. This is also true when it comes to: Developing continuous improvement processes (CIP) Adhering to norms and quality standards at minimum cost Establishing a loop to provide information for improving quality management in development and technology
We are familiar with the challenges in the automotive industry and have the knowledge required to make you more competitive for the long term.
